Trayectory
With a degree in Economic and Business Sciences from the University of Seville, and an Msc in Economics from the Pompeu Fabra University, where he also received his doctorate, he worked at the Statistics Institute of Andalusia and, since 1998, has been a professor at the Pablo de Olavide University in Seville.
Since then, he has published research and participated in numerous contracts with the government and companies for the transfer of knowledge.
He is also a columnist, appearing in newspapers such as Vozpópuli, El País and El Confidencial, and is a former editor of Agenda Pública. From February 2019 to June of this year, he was the Secretary General of the Economy of the Junta de Andalucía.
He is the author of the book “El Empleo del Futuro” (“employment of the future”), published by Deusto (2018).
